José Lacerda Goulart, age 69, of Turlock, California passed away at Doctor's Medical Center in Modesto, on Tuesday, December 12, 2023. Jose was born in Cedros, Faial, Açores to Laura Lacerda Rosa and Antonio Goulart.
José is survived by his partner Maria Fatima Sousa, his siblings,Leopoldino Goulart (Dora), Maria Lourdes Goulart, Maria Avelina Lacerda (Antonio) and Maria Fatima Silveira (Antonio) all of Turlock. José is also survived by his godchildren and many nieces and nephews.
José was preceded in death by his father Antonio Goulart, his mother Laura Lacerda Rosa and his partner Regina Goulart.
José was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church in Turlock, California.
A Visitation for José will be held Wednesday, January 3, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service, 286 West Main, Turlock, CA 95380.
A Recitation of the Rosary and Funeral Mass will occur Thursday, January 4, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 2602 South Walnut Road, Turlock, CA 95380.
A Committal Service will occur Thursday, January 4, 2024 at Turlock Memorial Park, 575 North Soderquist Road, Turlock, CA 95380.
Serving as pallbearers are Arnaldo Lacerda, Carlos Lacerda, Steven Silveira, Samuel Silveira, Hugo Santos, Anthony Garcia, Trevor Guina and Romel Lazar.
