Man oh man, I just loved how Luis was so goofy! He worked hard, and loved Denise so much.  I remember when we all went to Sam’s Cafe for Thai food - totally amazing! We had a lot of laughs :)
I’m good to miss him so much and I’m so sad that we lost him so suddenly :(

I met the love of my life in 1999 on the internet we talked for a year on the phone before there was texting. We used yahoo messenger lol I went to Canada to meet him for the first time he purposed to me that night. We got  married a year later and have been in love for sixteen years. I miss him so bad my heart is aching for him he is my best friend.  I love you so much and will miss you forever 

Luis worked for MPD as Volunteer.  He was happy to be there and always did his assignments with such pride, helping Officers and Citizens of the Community...Even though he was no longer with the department, we still kept our friendship and he will truly be missed..I’m still in shock!  Soo sad, to young...my heart goes out to Denise and her family, may god comfort you all...😢😔💐

I remember a story about Luis. It was early 2008 I had just met him at Marie Greens guarding an inmate. I had told him I was just certified on the Taser at work. He was excited for me. I went back to work and a few of my co-workers had what they call drop leg holsters for their Tasers. So the next day I asked Luis if he had a drop leg holster. He said he did and he gave it to me without hesitation. That’s who Luis was a loving, friendly, caring, and giving friend.
   Luis, I knew in my heart had an absolute love for Law Enforcement and Security. So in honor of Luis I’m attaching a picture of me in my Class A Merced County Sheriff Uniform to honor Mr. Luis Neto.

Luis was always willing and excited to help at MPD especially with Animal Control. He was a very nice and sweet man with a strong work ethic. I will miss him and his smile. God Bless.
