Mrs. Manuela Pires Freitas entered into rest Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at her house in Turlock, California, surrounded by her family. She was 77 years old and was born in Santa Catarina, Calheta, São Jorge, Azores. Mrs. Manuela Pires Freitas is survived by her Husband João S. Freitas of Turlock.

Three Sons- John M. Freitas and wife Allison of Turlock, George P. Freitas and wife Kaisa of Hilmar, Jim P. Freitas and wife Rosemary of Hughson.

One Daughter- Linda Yoppini Freitas of Ceres and her companion Helder G. Freitas of Salida. Ten Grandchildren- Jonathon Yoppini, Jeremey Yoppini, Aimee Freitas White, Zayn Freitas, Zachary Freitas, Tyler Freitas, Michael Freitas, Sophia Freitas, Sebastian Freitas, Noah Freitas. Four Great Grandchildren- Learyc Yoppini, Jack Yoppini, Adelynn Trujillo, Zoe Trujillo. Brother- Osvaldo Cardoso Pires of Turlock. Six Sisters- Ida Pires Fagundes, Maria Clotilde Silveira, Maura Pires Luis, all of Canada, Alzira Pires Gonçalves and Udelta Pires Belo, both of Half-Moon- Bay, Cidália Pires Medeiros of Horta, Faial, Azores.

Visitation; Tuesday, January 13 of 2015 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Chapel, 286 W. Main St., Turlock, California.

Vigil & Rosary; 7:00 PM, Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 2602 S. Walnut Rd., Turlock.

Funeral Mass; 10:00 AM, Wednesday, January 14, 2015, at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 2602 S. Walnut Rd., Turlock.
