Maria De Lourdes Melo, age 85, of Livingston, California entered into rest on Monday, January 4, 2021. She was born April 24, 1935 in Guadalupe, Graciosa, Acores to Manuel Correia Junior and Maria Ramos.
Maria is survived by: son Jerry Melo (Lucia) of Hilmar; son Manuel Melo of Livingston; and daughter Maria Fatima Melo (Jose Gabriel Melo) of Livingston; brother Norberto Correia of Angola; brother Domingos Correia of Livingston; brother Antonio Correia of Livingston; brother Jerry Correia of Livingston; and sister Teresa Azevedo of Livingston; grandchild Cindy Costa (Nelson); grandchild Denise Maciel (Daniel); grandchild Jason Melo (Alyssa); grandchild Brian Melo; grandchild Isaac Melo; grandchild Lucas Melo; great grandchild Sarah Costa; great grandchild Kevin Costa; great grandchild Darin Maciel; great grandchild Danica Maciel; and great grandchild Dayla Maciel.
She was preceded in death by: her parents Manuel Correia Junior and Maria Ramos; her husband Lucas Pacheco de Melo in November of 2010; her grandchild last year Brenda Melo Sanchez; brother Manuel Correia; and brother Juventino Correia.
A Visitation for Maria will be held from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service, 286 W. Main Street, Turlock, California.
A Recitation of the Rosary followed by Funeral Mass will occur at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 20323 American Avenue, Hilmar, California. A committal service will follow at Turlock Memorial Park, 575 North Soderquist Road, Turlock, California.
Serving as pallbearers are Brian Melo, Isaac Melo, Lucas Melo, Jason Melo, Kevin Costa, Darin Maciel, Daniel Maciel and Nelson Costa.
