Maria Adelaide Soares

July 30, 1924 ~ October 22, 2011

Age 87 entered into rest in Newman, California

She was born in Lourais, Sao Jorge, Azores and was a homemaker for 21 years. Mrs. Soares was a member of Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church of Turlock and Shrine Our Lady of Miracles in Gustine.

Survivors:

Daughters- Maria Isilda Soares of Algarve, Portugual, Olivia Brasil of Escalon and her late husband Jose, Lucia Brasil and her husband Arnaldo of Madeira, Conceicao Areias and her husband Manuel of Galto and Fatima Mendonca and her husband Jose of Gustine, Sons- Joe Soares and his wife Teresa of Turlock, Germano Soares and his wife Jacinta of Turlock, Fernando Soares of Idaho and Joao Soares and his wife Manuela of Idaho, Sisters- Olga Morais of Santa Clara, Terezinha Morais, Juvena Bettencourt, Conceicao Cabral all of Sao Jorge, Azores, Alice Silva of Massachusetts and Alvarina Bettencourt. of Ceres. 24-Grandchildren and 28- Great-Grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her son Rev. Father Julio Soares.

Rosary- 8PM, Friday, October 28, 2011 at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 2602 S. Walnut Ave, Turlock,CA

Mass- 10AM, Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Shrine Our Lady of Miracles ,370 Linden Ave, Gustine, CA

Burial will be at Turlock Memorial Park.
