Mary Fatima Resendes

Mary Fatima Resendes, age 79, of Newman, California passed away at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto, on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. Mary was born in Santa Cruz das Flores, Açores to Fernanda Avelar and Raul Armas.

Mary is survived by her son Michael Resendes, her daughter in law Amanda, her daughter Danette Resendes, her brother Arnold Armas (Jackie), her daughter-in-law Nancy Martin, her sister Alda Cordeiro (Bill) and her sister-in-law Jenny Armas. Mary also leaves behind her grandchildren Michael Porter Resendes, Christopher Rosa, Levi Martin, Maci Martin, Jessica Gomez, Brandie Rogers, Matthew Gomez Jr., along with her great grandchildren David Gomez, Amber Gomez, Hailey Gomez, Matthew Gomez and Benjamin Rogers to honor her memory.

Mary was preceded in death by her daughter Rose Marie Resendes, her son Rodney Martin her parents Raul Armas and Fernanda Avelar, her brothers, Walter Armas, Tony Armas, Joe Armas and Armando Armas along with her sister Maria Cardoso.

A Visitation for Mary will be held Thursday, May 18, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service, 286 West Main, Turlock, CA 95380.

A Funeral Service will occur Thursday, May 18, 2023 at 10:00 AM, 286 West Main, Turlock, CA 95380.

A Committal Service will occur Thursday, May 18, 2023, at Turlock Memorial Park, 575 North Soderquist Road, Turlock, CA 95380.
