Mr. Paulo Fernando Avila entered into rest peacefully Tuesday February 16, 2016 surrounded by his family at Kaiser Hospital in Walnut Creek. He was 39 years old and was born in Conceição, Terceira, Azores and had lived in Walnut Creek for the past 4 years. Paulo is survived by his Wife- Cindy B. Avila of Walnut Creek. His Son- Helio Antonio Avila of Terceira, Azores, Mother-Maria Noemia Esteves of Terceira, Azores. Grandmother- Maria Noemia Esteves of Ripon, CA. Mother-in-Law- Fatima Leonardo of Oakdale, CA. Brothers and Sisters-in-Law- Tony & Katie Andrade of Camas WA. George Andrade of Oakdale, Diane & Ron Castillo of Coalinga, Shawn & Elizabeth Ratto of Seattle WA. Nephews- Brian, Matthew, Zachary Andrade, and God-Child Peyton Ratto, numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.

Paulo Fernando Avila is Preceded in Death by his Father- Antonio Avila and his Grandfather- João Esteves. Paulo was also a devoted parishioner of St. Patrick Catholic Church of Escalon.

Services: Visitation- 2:00 to 8:00 PM, Monday February 22, 2016 at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Service, 286 W. Main St., Turlock, California, with a Vigil and Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM.Funeral Mass- 10:00 AM, Tuesday February 23, 2016 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 19399 E. Hwy 120, Escalon, CA.
