Richard is survived by: his wife, Mary Grace Aguiar of Turlock; son Richard Victor Aguiar Jr. of Texas; daughter Colleen M. Cecil (Jacob) of Orland; daughter Christine A. Lott (Timothy) of Sacramento; daughter Amanda C. Aguiar (Patrick Lisle) of Stevinson; brother Daniel Aguiar of Galt; and sister Kathy Smith of Groveland; as well as his grandchildren Trevor Aguiar, Clayton Cecil, Dalton Cecil, Charlotte Aguiar, and Elizabeth Lott.
Mr. Aguiar was preceded in death by his parents Elvina and Joseph Victor Aguiar.
He was a dedicated parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Turlock and a member of Turlock Horseman Club, American Cowboy Team Roping Association, and the Luso American Club of Turlock.
A visitation for Mr. Richard Aguiar will be held from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service: 286 W. Main Street, Turlock, California. A recitation of the rosary followed by a funeral mass will occur at 10:30 AM on Friday, February 15, 2019 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church: 1200 Lyons Avenue, Turlock, California. He will be laid to rest after the services at N. Hilmar Cemetery District: 8710 N. Tegner Road, Hilmar, California.
Serving as pallbearers are Terry Aguiar, Daniel Aguiar Jr., Cameron Aguiar, Norman Tuitavuki, Jared Avila, Jeremy Santos, Michael Santos and Tommy King.
