Tony Henrique Galante

Tony was born in the village of Ribeirinha, on the island of Terceira in the Azores, to Alvarina P. Galante and Antonio V. Galante. He came to the United States as a young boy, and although he made his home in California, he always carried a deep pride in his Azorean heritage.

He is survived by many cousins and extended family members who held him dear and supported him throughout his life.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Alvarina Galante, along with his grandparents, aunts, and uncles.

A visitation will be held on Monday, June 23 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service, 286 West Main Street, Turlock, CA 95380.

A Recitation of the Rosary and Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 20263 American Avenue, Hilmar, CA 95324. Committal will follow at Turlock Memorial Park, 575 N Soderquist Road, Turlock, CA 95380.

Serving as pallbearers are Willy Delgado, Joe Martin, Fernando Rodrigues, Wagner Caetano, Louie Bettencourt and Antonio Vieira.

Tony will be remembered for his kind spirit, he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Tony Henrique Galante, com 64 anos de idade, de Hilmar, Califórnia, faleceu na terça-feira, dia 10 de junho de 2025. Vivia em Hilmar há 57 anos.

O Sr. Tony nasceu na freguesia da Ribeirinha, ilha Terceira, Açores, filho de Alvarina P. Galante e António V. Galante.

Deixa de luto muitos primos e familiares.

Foi precedido na morte pelos seus pais, António e Alvarina Galante, assim como os seus avós maternos e paternos, tias e tios.

O velório realiza-se na segunda-feira, dia 23 de junho de 2025, das 5 às 8 da noite, na Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service, 286 West Main, Turlock, CA 95380.

A recitação do terço e a missa de corpo presente terão lugar na terca-feira, dia 24 de junho de 2025, às 10h00 da manhã, na Igreja Católica do Santo Rosário, 20263 American Avenue, Hilmar, CA 95324, seguindo-se o sepultamento no cemitério Turlock Memorial Park, 575 N Soderquist Rd, Turlock, CA 95380.
