Virginia Candida Borges

Entered into rest at the age of 89 in Chowchilla, Ca. She was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, she was a homemaker for 63 years and a member of St Columbia Catholic Church of Chowchilla, Luso American in Norco, P.F.S.A. Council 19 of Chino Ontario, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors- 5-Sons- Frank A. Borges and his wife Kathleen of Madera, John M Borges and his wife Diane of Windsor, Colorado. Manuel M Borges and his wife Jeannette of Escalon, Tony M. Borges and his wife Nancy of Madera and Joe M. Borges and his wife Mary of Stephenville, Texas, Daughter- Natal M. Mello and her husband Danny of Chowchilla, Brother- Manuel Galhandro of Lemoore, Ca., Sisters- Maria da Silva Bettencourt of Terceira, Azores and Belmira Gomes of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. 17-Grandchildren and 18-Great-Grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband- Francisco Mendes Borges in April 27, 2009.

Rosary- 7PM, Monday, April 23, 2012 at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 2602 S. Walnut Ave, Turlock, CA

Mass- 10AM, Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 2602 S. Walnut Ave, Turlock, CA

Burial will be at Turlock Memorial Park
