EUTAW – Aline Finley Williams, loving wife, mother and auntie, age 86, of Eutaw, Alabama, died January 15, 2021 at Greene County Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 22, 2021 at Mesopotamia Cemetery in Eutaw, Alabama with Rev. Haven Bill Betts officiating and Memory Chapel Funeral Home directing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Edgar Williams; son, Thomas Bradley Williams; brothers, Robert N. Finley and Thomas Finley; and sister, Norma F. Silva.
Survivors include her son, Samuel Keith Williams (Lynne); nephews, Robert M. Finley (Trudi) and J. Michael Silva (Freda); and other loving nieces and nephews.
Aline was born in Eutaw, Alabama on March 26, 1934 to the late Thomas Milton and Mamie Coleman Finley. She was a graduate of Greene County High School then attended Massey Business School in Birmingham. After school she worked for Yarborough Motors as a bookkeeper for over 30 years. Aline was a faithful member of Pleasant Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Lewiston, Alabama for over 60 years. She was a deacon and served as a board member. She enjoyed camping and spending time with her family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Gary McGalliard, Larry Cotton, Homer Carpenter, Bennie Abrams, and Curt Barnett.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Greene County Ambulance, P.O. Box 431, Eutaw, AL 35462 or Pleasant Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Lewiston, Ala.
