Billy was a simple man and enjoyed a simple. He moved from Arkansas to Alabama in 1945 and later met and married the love of his life, Shirley. In his younger years he enjoyed singing with his brothers, gardening, grilling and rolling with the Tide; he could always talk about football. He enjoyed sitting on the back porch, solving word searches and fishing from the bank. He adored his children but his grandchildren were just that, GRAND! Billy was a very hard worker and retired from Sentell Engineering. He was a great provider for his family and loved his wife's cooking, especially turnip greens and cornbread.
