

Brenda Butler Snow, 75, passed away on September 23, 2020 in Northport. A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 10:00AM from Memory Chapel in Tuscaloosa. A Funeral Service will begin at 11:00AM from the funeral home Chapel, with Bro Gene Dockery officiating. Interment will immediately follow from Memory Hill Gardens. Memory Chapel, a Dignity Provider is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.
Ms. Snow was born July 17, 1945 to the late Farris and Maybelle Butler of Fayette, AL. the 6th of 8 siblings they were and unusually close and not only loved each other, but LIKED spending time together and enjoyed each other’s company immensely. She is the 3rd sibling of the group to pass, all within the last nine months. Brenda will always be remembered for her beauty and outgoing personality. She loved her family fiercely and was loved back equally. She had a special love for babies and children. She was always extremely happy to be in the company of her beloved great grandsons Clark and Ford Stokes. After having a stroke this past summer, Ms. Snow succumbed to the complications of the multiple strokes that followed. She was a huge part of her family and the lives of those who loved her, she will be missed beyond measure.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Dr. Robert Snow; brother W.C. Butler and sister Janice Butler Kuykendall.
Ms Snow is survived by her daughters: Connie Ray Stokes (John) and Kimberly Ray Satcher (Mark); sister Frances B Ferguson (John) of Greensboro, AL and brothers: Bennie Butler (Elaine) of Hixon, TN, Douglas Butler (Jennifer) of Albertville, AL, Lavelle Butler of Fayette, AL and Tim Butler (Terry) of Tuscaloosa, AL; grandchildren: Zach Stokes (Brook) of Northport, AL, Mary Margaret “Maggie” Stokes Faust (Bobby) of Gulf Shores, AL, Harry Stokes of Northport, AL, Gill Satcher of Hoover, AL, and Meredith Satcher of Hoover, AL; great grandsons Clark and Ford Stokes of Northport, AL, and a host of extended family members and friends.
Serving as Active Pallbearers will be: Grandsons, Zach Stokes, Harry Stokes, Gill Satcher and Bobby Faust III, as well as Nephews: Mike Cork and Craig Butler.
The family wishes to recognize Encompass Hospice employees, with special thanks to nurse Hannah Potts, Dr John Summerford and Ms Annie Gee as Honorary Pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions can be made to the ALS Association, Alabama Chapter, in honor of Brenda Snow, and her beloved Sister Janice Butler Kuykendall.
