He was a simple man and it didn’t take much to make him happy. If you knew Brian, then you know the less money he (or you) could spend the better, unless it involved fishing tackle of course. He had a fix or “better” solution to any problem and he would drop everything on a dime to come and help you. No matter what time of the day. He loved some Alabama football Saturday’s with his family. You couldn’t wipe the smile off of his face if he was somewhere on a boat fishing.
He took pride in how hard he worked and was a retiree from the City of Tuscaloosa where he served 25 years. He later went on to own Southern Jewelry and Pawn in Northport, where he gave the rest of his life too. You could find him there (or the lake) 6 days a week and he would greet you with a smile everytime you come through the doors.
He was and always will be a very loved and missed husband, dad, son, brother, uncle, friend, and “Briany”. He leaves our hearts forever broken and his legacy will continue to live on through the hearts of his 5 grandchildren... Maddie, Haiden, Brynleigh, Kolton, & Riverleigh. Never to be forgotten.
