Charles Edwin Brackner

Funeral services will held at 11:00am, on Tuesday, August 27th, at Heritage Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Buddy Price officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00am to 11:00am. Burial will follow services at Christian Union Church Cemetery, in Brookwood.

Charles is survived by his Wife, Wilma Lee (Snooks/Gran) Brackner; Children, Connie Brown and Gary Brackner (Rita); Grandchildren, Scott Dickey (Joanne), Angela Caffee (Greg) and Kelli Cox; Great Grandchildren, Anna-Grace Dickey (Dylan), Lexie Puliatti (Xander), John Hayden Caffee and Ava Caffee; and Great Great Granddaughter, The Sweetest, Maple Jo Lee.

Charles (Buddy Buddy) was born on November 27th, 1929 in Kellerman, AL. He lived his life loving his family, country, community and friends in Brookwood, AL.

Pallbearers will be Rick Bragg,Tommy Washington, John Hayden Caffee, Lee Hayes, Dave Parrish,

Scott Cooglar, Joey Brackner, Jack Cornelius, David Forister, Shelton Todd and Tommy Jones.

Honorary Pallbearers are Retirees of BF Goodrich, Christian Union Church Family, and Neighbors of the Brookwood Community.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Christian Union Church.
