Survivors include his parents, Charles "Jason" and Jennifer Patrick of Northport; sister, Landry Alice Patrick of Northport; grandparents, David and Carolyn Avery and Freeman and Faye Patrick, all of Tuscaloosa; great grandmother, Mary Alice Patrick of Tuscaloosa; Aunts and Uncles, Carla and Mike Burkes of Tuscaloosa, Cathy and Shannon Skinner of Northport, Becky and Nathan Reamey of Tuscaloosa, and Angela and Scott Wilson of Baytown, TX; and cousins, Meghan and Tyler Skinner of Northport, Ben Patrick of Tuscaloosa, Macy and Ashley Burkes of Tuscaloosa, Colton and Luke Wilson of Baytown, TX, and John David Reamey of Tuscaloosa.
Logan was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 1 at 5 ½ months old. He was given a life expectancy of 1 to 2 years. He beat the odds everyday. Each day was truly a blessing with him. Logan loved life, and taught so many people about courage, hope, and strength. He moved mountains with his strength without moving a muscle. Despite his physical limitations, his mind was not affected; he was very bright. Even though, Logan only lived 6 years, he experienced so much in his lifetime. He enjoyed going to the beach, Disney World, camping, concerts, participating in a 5k race, tailgating at Alabama football games, attending church, going to school, etc. He also enjoyed riding in a golf cart and on a boat, and also playing baseball with Miracle League of Tuscaloosa. He inspired us to keep fighting the fight against SMA. He is now walking hand-in-hand with Jesus in Heaven and flying high with all the other angels. Logan is doing all the things he's never been able to do here on Earth, He is completely healed now. Fly high Angel LoLo!
