Charlotte Adair Andress, age 80, of Tuscaloosa, Alabama passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, September 2, 2024. A Graveside Service, officiated by Dolan Davis, will be held at Memory Hill Gardens on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 2:00 PM. She is preceded in death by her parents, CB and Lorene Adair; sister, Dorothy Adair; husband, James.
Charlotte is survived by her son, Grady Smith (Betsy); grandchildren, Duncan Smith and Evan Smith; James' children, Barry Andress (Melita) and Kelly Green (David), his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Charlotte worked with Bell South for 35 years. She and James traveled full time in their RV for multiple years. She loved shopping, the beach, her Boston Terrier "babies" and grand "boys", Duncan and Evan, and Walmart (She tried to visit the store in every town she and James visited)!
Honorary pallbearers will be the staff at Regency Retirement Village and Heritage Nursing Home.
