

Daniel Hughes Logan, age 53, of Tuscaloosa, died March 14, 2015. Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be Tuesday night, March 17, 2015, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.He was preceded in death by his father, Hughes Logan; brother, John Michael Logan; grandparents, Charlie and Clara Daniel, and E.E. and Mary Logan; and numerous aunts and uncles. Survivors include his brother, Jerry Wayne Logan (Jan) of Tuscaloosa; mother, Jane D. Logan; nephews, Todd Logan, Riley Logan, and Ryan Logan; and niece, Anna Marie Logan. He was born October 26, 1961, in Tuscaloosa. He graduated from West End Christian in 1980. Danny was a loving son, brother, Uncle, and friend. He worked at American Christian Academy and loved the school and what it stood for. His love for his family, ACA, and friends was immeasurable. His faith was strong. He will be greatly missed, but we know through our faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, we will see him again.Pallbearers will be nephews, Todd Logan, Ryan Logan, Hunter Hooks, David Cavan, Jordan Hastings, and Coach Chris Smelley. Honorary pallbearers are all employees, students, and graduates of American Christian, Dan Carden, Buddy Sumner, Buddy Windham, Claude Windham, Ricky Sparks, Jim Riley, friends from ACA and West End.In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to American Christian Academy or Taylorville United Methodist Church.
