Darrel was preceded in death by his father Jimmy Hayes and his mother Janice Hayes.
Darrel is survived by his wife, Brandy Lee Hayes; his daughter Cortney Hayes of Fosters, Alabama; his daughter Ashely Harris (Tyler Harris) of Fosters, Alabama; and his daughter Allison Wisdom (Drew Wisdom) of Fosters, Alabama; his father-in-law James Huff and his mother-in-law Kathy Huff; his sister Darlene Hupp and his brother Jimmy Hayes; and his grandchildren Brylan Tidwell, Jolee Harris, Jaxon Harris and Jesse Harris.
Darrel moved between California, Oklahoma, and Alabama as a child. He met the love of his life at 17 and they soon married in 1994. Over the years, they had three girls and settled down in Alabama. Darrel worked hard in life to provide for his family. He even ran his own business, Darrel Hayes Floor Covering. He took much pride in his work. He had a love for the outdoors. If he wasn't hunting, he was fishing. Aside from that, you could find him spending time with family and loving on all his little grandchildren. He truly cherished every person he met in this life, and we know he is looking forward to the day that we all meet again.
