

David Luis Leopard Sr., 63, passed away on June 22, 2020, at DCH in Tuscaloosa. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 26, 2020 at 3:00pm, Graveside from Memory Hill Gardens, with Pastor Scott McCown officiating. Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity provider is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Leopard was born December 15, 1956 to Millie Leopard and the late Bobby Harold Leopard, Sr. He worked his entire life as a carpenter, he was creative and could build anything. Church of Christ by faith, he was a lifelong member of Central Church of Christ. An avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting and fishing and had a passion for water skiing, especially barefooting. He often stated that he “Did not need ski’s, Just a wetsuit!” Mr. Leopard, loved his family, and was especially proud of his children and little granddaughters.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by one sister Linda Leopard, and one brother Mike Leopard.
He is survived by his daughters: Rachel Leopard Feaster of Chesapeake, VA, and Amy Leopard Wetzel of Clearwater, FL; sons: David Luis Leopard, Jr. and Garrett (Jessica) Leopard both of Tuscaloosa, AL and Courtney (Mandy) Dagenhart of Birmingham, AL; his mother: Millie Leopard, one brother: Bobby Harold Leopard, Jr. of Tuscaloosa, AL and grandchildren: Lillie Dagenhart, Reid Dagenhart, Janie Leopard, Phoebe Feaster and Ella Wetzel.
Serving as Active Pallbearers will be his sons: David, Garrett and Courtney, nephew Johnathan Leopard and Michel Maxwell and Jeff West.
Mr. Leopard’s family wishes to extend their most sincerest thanks to Johnathan Leopard and Rhonda Doss.
