David H. Walters, age 73, of Northport, formerly of Seale, Ala., lost his battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) on Feb. 22, 2011, at Northport Medical Center-DCH. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Feb. 28, 2011, at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery with Heritage Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to ALS Association of Alabama in memory of David H. Walters, P.O. Box 2888, Huntsville, AL 35804-2888.
