Deborah Sue Jennings McBride

Deborah Sue Jennings McBride, age 66, of Buhl, Alabama passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at home. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, September 12, 2025 at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Payne officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Deborah was preceded in death by her father, Buren Jennings Jr.; mother, Helen Elizabeth Greer Jennings; sister, Tammy Jo Jennings.

She is survived by her husband, John Earl McBride; Daughters, Sara Elizabeth Hill (Rusty), Deborah Kyle Ziegler (Jonathan); son, John Edward McBride (Kelly); grandchildren, Austin, Brianna and Angel Patterson, Justin, Alex and Chris McBride, Katelyn, Christy and Bryant Wheat; great grandchildren, Kaylee Patterson, Ryliegh Marler, Leviathan Irby, Hestia Haynie; extended family, Michael Wheat, Adam and Ashley Holman, James McBride, Bro. Bill Payne and family.

Debbie graduated in 1977. She married her sweetheart John on March 26, 1976. She spent 40 years as a cake decorator, something she loved doing. Debbie taught the primary Sunday school class at Grace Baptist Church. She enjoyed being in the yard working, just enjoying the weather or gardening. She loved going to the beach. She spent a lot of her free time drawing and painting.

Bunn family, Guy Watkins, management of Lowe's of Northport, management of RNDC, management of Publix.
