COTTONDALE – Doris Smith Tidmore, age 85, passed away November 19, 2021 at her home. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Finney officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
Ms. Tidmore was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Sammy Tidmore; parents, Ada Mae and James Ira Smith; brother, James Harold Smith; and great-grandson, Christopher Allen.
She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Crews (Keevin) and Wanda Tyner (Jerry); sons, Tommy Tidmore (Debbie) and Randall Tidmore (Barbara); fourteen grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Ryan Snow, Lee Cornett, Chris Mable, Justin Jemison, Trey Petty, Matt Deal, Chase Stratford, and Andy Lynn.
Honorary pallbearers are Friends of Hargrove Road East, Pineview Assembly of God, Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Vincent Boot and Shoe, and Hospice of West Alabama.
