Edward Earl Stewart, age 81, of Tuscaloosa, died Jan. 23, 2013, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, at Heritage Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Gene Dockery officiating. Burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial park with Heritage Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
He is survived by his brother, Willie Hugh Stewart Jr.
Pallbearers will be David Hamilton, Robert Beck, Ike Moss, Mike Harris, Doug Holleyhand, and Randy Ingram.
Honorary pallbearers are Unity Baptist Church, the Unity community, the Culver Road area, and VA Hospital nursing staff.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of West Alabama.
