Our mother was greatly loved by all who knew her, and she will be missed. We always remember going to her home, where she loved to cook for her family, making sure we were fed. We especially remember her homemade biscuits, vegetable soup, peach cobbler, sweet potato pies, and egg custard pies. Mother always felt that a home should have love, children, flowers, and music. She loved her little chihuahua, Maria, who was a great source of comfort and companionship to her. We love you and miss you but know that you are happy and well again.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Honorary pallbearers will be her friends and acquaintances.
A special thanks to the doctors, nurses, and other professionals who took care of her while she was at DCH Medical Center; to Amedisys Home Health and Hospice; and to the others who helped care for her at home through the past six years.
