Mrs. Evelyn Mitchell Lee Mitchell Eads

She was born on October 4, 1933 in Picayune, Miss.

Evelyn married to Garland Lee on June 6, 1953, until his death in 1982. She is also preceded by her parents, Rayford and Eunice Mitchell.

Evelyn is survived by her beloved husband of over 18 years, Daniel Richard Eads; daughters, Debra (George) Lee Meadows and Denise (Ronald) Eads Carter; sons, Roger (Margie) Lee, Douglas (Sandy) Lee, Rayford (Steph) Lee and Danny (Carolyn) Eads; brothers, Charles (Hilda) Mitchell, Onra (Irene) Mitchell, Jack (Lois) Mitchell, Donald (Janie) Mitchell; and sister, Kay (Furman) Wages; grandsons, Shane Moore, Evan Lee, and John and Jim Eads; granddaughters, Andrea Willett, Brandi Lindsey, Tiffanie Clanton, Chrissy Youngblood, Courtney Carter, Jennifer Bennett, Britney Hammond and Brittany Meadows; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Evergreen Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Clary and Bro. Venion Bradford officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Baptist Church Cemetery with Heritage Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the church.
