Faye H. Carter, age 81, of Tuscaloosa, died August 12, 2015, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center. Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, August 15, 2015, at Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home.She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard G. Carter; parents, Hugo L. Hendrix and Lucille Hendrix; and brother, Hugo Hendrix.Survivors include her daughters, Linda G. Carter and Denise C. Spencer (Bob); son, David Watts; and grandchildren, Ashley Watts and Joseph R. Spencer (Alexis); and other family and friends.Faye was a retired House Mother of Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity at the University of Alabama for 20 years. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother and grandmother.
