Celebration of Life Services will be Saturday, May 15, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Circlewood Baptist Church with Dr. Herbert Thomas officiating, and Heritage Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider directing. Visitation will be Saturday, May 15, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the church.
Gary was preceded in death by his Mother, Sarah Alice Nixon.
He is survived by his Daughter, Jennifer Nixon Richardson; his Son, John David Nixon; his Sister, Cathy Reese; and his Father, George Nixon; his Grandchildren, Cayden Scott Richardson; Camryn Richardson, and Landon Jordan.
David graduated from Tuscaloosa County High in 1978. He was a loving father, brother, and grandfather. He loved to hunt, fish, golf, and all sports. He was a high Auburn sports fan, and never missed a home football game. He was the best G-daddy to his grandsons, Cayden and Cam. They were his life.
