Hazel K. Lee

A graveside service will be held at Memory Hill Gardens, 2200 Skyland E Blvd, Tuscaloosa, AL 35405 on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at 11:00 am.

Hazel is preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Hassie Linley; three sisters; husbands, Loyd Key and Russell S. Lee; step-son-in-law, David Suther.

Hazel is survived by her sons, Richard Key (Connie), Steve Key (Jean) both of Tuscaloosa, Al; step-son, Kenny Lee (Marilyn) of Tuscaloosa, Al; step-daughters, Judy Suther, Wanda Young (Michael) both of Tuscaloosa, Al; grandchildren, Caroline Fanelli (Davy Martenn), Tommy Key (Emily), Crissi Nance (Jimmy), Brad Lee (Lindsay), Travis Lee (Jenny), Kellyn Lee, Georgia Abston (Andy), Steve Suther (Anna), Casey Punturo, Terria Steele (Carey), Jay Young (Mary Harmon), Anna Baggett (Michael); and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Hazel was born in 1929 in Brilliant, Al and married Loyd Key in 1945. They had two sons. Hazel worked and owned two fabric stores. Bessemer Fabric and Key Fabric. In 1985 Hazel married Russell S. Lee and worked alongside of him until they retired. This marriage brought Hazel two step-daughters and a step-son. They shared a very blessed blended family.

Pallbearers are Tommy Key, Key Harwell, Loper Waters, Hank Waters, Travis Lee, Brad Lee, Steve Suther, Casey Punturo.

Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Ross Vaughn, employees of Legacy Assisted Living, employees of Russell S Lee Flooring America, Jimmy Nance, Betty Neill, Clara Collins, Sandra Carter, Griff Waters, Leroy McAbee, and Davy Martenn.
