

Jimbo was a loving son, dad, brother and uncle. He was a gifted athlete in his youth and a logger and equipment operator with a work ethic like no other. He once said he thought he was 9ft tall and bulletproof in his younger days. He loved fishing and hunting and was happiest when outdoors. He lived a quiet and simple life but had a big personality. He once was described as being “larger than life.” He will truly be missed by those that knew him.
He is preceded in death by his father, Wilsie, his mother, Larue, his brother, Andy, and his beloved grandparents.
He leaves behind two sons, James(Amy) and Jonathon(Cara), grandchildren Allie Grace, Sydney Kate, Andy, Cheyenne, Kathleen, Savannah and Emery, sisters Jan Hall and Melissa Colvin(Whit), step-father Gerald Wiggins and many nieces and nephews.
A viewing for close family and friends will be held at 1 o’clock on Monday, May 19th at Heritage Chapel Funeral Home. Graveside service will be at 2 o’clock at Christian Union Church with brother Gary Youngblood officiating.
Pallbearers will be Andy Hallman, Brooks Bentley, Mark Bentley, Gaither Dodson, James Lindsey and Patrick Brooks.
