He is survived by his loving wife, Sandy Payton; daughter, Candice Balenger (Heath); son, Clint Payton (Allison); four grandchildren: Talan Balenger, Tate Balenger, Truss Balenger and Connor Payton; mother, Linda Payton; sister, Cynthia Leavell (William); brothers, Dain Payton (Tamara) and Bradley Payton (Jennifer).
The family wishes to extend their most heartfelt thanks to the entire staff of Hospice of West Alabama. As well as the wonderful care provided by his caregiver Cassandra.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at 2PM from Forest Lake United Methodist Church, with Rev. Zac Head officiating.
