FOSTERS - Jan Perry Pater, age 61, of Fosters, Ala., died January 14, 2018 at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at Memory Chapel with Ray Hallman officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore J. Pater and Martha Snyder Pater and sister, Sandra Thrasher.
Survivors include his fiancé, Tammy Stamps; daughters, Jena Gail Woods (Douglas) of Saint Joseph, Mich. and Jacklyn Dawn Harris of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; son, Adam ""Blake"" O'Quinn of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; brothers, Bruce Pater (Inette), Anthony Pater (Terri) and Patrick Pater (Karen); grandchildren, Daniel and Mason Woods, Emily and Kaci Harris and Calen O'Quinn.
His fun-loving personality and sense of humor will be missed.
Pallbearers will be Joe Rouse, Mike Miller, Phillip Lesley, Randy Mims, Jimmy Colburn, Douglas Woods and Daniel Woods.
Honorary pallbearer is Dr. Anand Pandey.
