Janice Jenkins DeFord age 78, of Winchester, TN passed away on March 27, 2025. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, March 31, 2025 at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Billings officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Hill Gardens.
Janice was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Jenkins; father, Lonzo Jenkins; brother, Dennis Jenkins; sister, Doris Hall.
She is survived by her life partner, Dr. Larry Eddy; daughters, Cindy Kelly Trawick and Sandy Kelly Rice; sister, Barbara Tronu; brother, Lonny Jenkins (Kim); grandchildren, Derek Rice (Ashton), Kasey Flythe (Taylor), Alexis Trawick, Susanna Gross; great grandchildren, Blayden Rice, Riggins Rice, and Callum Flythe.
Janice was a beloved mother, Nana and sister. She was a devoted Registered Nurse in Alabama and Tennessee.
Honorary Pallbearers are Amedisys Hospice-Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Amedisys Hospice.
