Ms. Graves was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Virginia Cowan; brothers, Donald Cowan and James “Buddy” Cowan III; and sister, Jackie Waters.
She is survived her son, Donald Graves (Mechelle); sisters, Lynda Taylor, Barbara Strickland. Patsy Osborn, and Mary Atkinson; brother, Tommy Cowan; and grandchildren, Jackson Graves and Ansley Graves.
Honorary pallbearers are her many nieces and nephews, the staff at Hospice of West Alabama, and the staff on 4 Southeast at DCH Regional Medical Center.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of West Alabama.
