Larry Turner

Larry Dean Turner, age 52, of Tuscaloosa, died Oct. 29, 2012, at home. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Heritage Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Holley officiating. Burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Heritage Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frank K. Turner, and his grandparents, Lois Turner, Shelton Turner, and Velma Lee.

Survivors include his companion for over a decade, Angela Raines; his daughter, Erica Turner Seale of Tuscaloosa; his son, David Eric Turner of Northport; his sister, Wanda Turner Penny; his mother, Bobbie F. Turner; and his grandchildren, Chelsea Turner, Cody Colburn, Chloe Turner, and Austin Day.

Larry grew up in Tuscaloosa and was a simple man. He was a loving father, companion, son, grandfather, and brother. He was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Pallbearers will be Greg Penny, Brian Penny, Hilton Mason Jr., Tony Taylor, Derek Day, Jamey Murray, Mathew Taylor, and Adam Taylor.

Honorary pallbearers are Greg Barger and all close friends.
