Lula Mae Frye

Lula Mae Frye, age 81, of Tuscaloosa was surrounded by family when she went to be with the Lord November 11, 2023 at Hunter Creek Health and Rehabilitation. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor John "Junior" Stephens of Eternal Faith Church officiating.

Ms. Frye was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Esther Green; daughter, Dean Frye; grandson, Barry Neal Mullenix, Jr.; sisters, Judy Weaver, Mary Nell Green, and Hazel Green; brothers, Floyd “Sam” Green, Jr., Herman Walter Green, and Edgar Green; son-in-law, Preston Eaton; and the love of her life, William “Buddy” Eaton.

She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Mullenix, Christie Crawford (John), and Teresa Eaton; brother, John Green (Terumi); grandchildren, Bonnie Faye Mullenix, Kimber Mullenix, Sandy Simon, Lacy Thames, Kevin Eaton, and Hope Eaton; and great-grandchildren, Colbi Mullenix, Lonna Jones, Haleigh Jarvis, Logan Thames, and Molly Eaton.

Honorary pallbearers are Southern Care New Beacon Hospice, Jordan Fanelli, Elizabeth Edwards, Chaplain Don Sanders, Hunter Creek Health and Rehabilitation, Jody Williams, and friends of the Holt Community Center.
