Margie W. Snoddy, age 86, of Tuscaloosa, died Sept. 4, 2011, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Tim Lovett officiating and Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be immediately after services at the church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. William T. Snoddy.
Survivors include her daughter, Joyce Yeung (Victor) of Rockledge, Fla.; sons, Dr. Bill Snoddy (Nina) of Asheville, N.C. and Wayne Snoddy of Tuscaloosa; sister, Betty W. Johnson of Fort Myers, Fla.; grandchildren, Wes Snoddy, Eric Snoddy, Martin Snoddy, Stacia Snoddy Roberts, Laura Snoddy Culp, and David Yeung; and great-grandchildren, Morgan Roberts, Evan Roberts, and Camryn Culp.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Calvary Baptist Church.
