Mildred Francis Johnson, age 94, died April 19, 2017, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Memory Chapel with Kenny Overstreet and Ray Hallman officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be from 12 noon- 2 p.m. at the funeral home.She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Rachel Sumner; daughter, Anita Brown Fender; son-in-law, Raymond Brown, and grandson, Matthew Brown.Survivors include her husband of 74 years, Dudley Johnson; grandchildren, Julie Russell (David), Raymond Brown (Amy), Jennie Vanderhoef (Rick), Christian Brown (Michelle); 10 great-grandchildren and one great great-granddaughter; son-in-law, Gary Fender; and many nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to a church of your choice or Hospice of West Alabama.
