Milton Lee Wheat, age 79, of Northport, died April 21, 2016, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, April 24, 2016, at Tabernacle Free Will Baptist Church with Carol Jones and Jerry Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Memory Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be Saturday, April 23, 2016, from 6 to 8 p.m., the funeral home.He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Nancy Wheat and brothers, Guin Alvin and Ronnie Wheat.Survivors include his daughter, Janet Wheat; sons, Randall Wheat (Karen) and Samuel Wheat; mother of his children, Clara Wheat; sisters, Annie Walters (Mac) and Fay Price (Joe); sister-in-law, Linda Wheat; brothers, Bob, Cecil (Barbara) and Roger (Debra) Wheat; grandchildren, Christopher and Tyler Wheat and Amber Cunningham (David); three great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.He was loved by many and will be missed by all.
