Patricia Ann Boothe Strickland

Patricia Ann Boothe Strickland, age 79, of Northport, died Jan. 23, 2014. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Ben Jameson officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, James Aaron Strickland; granddaughter, Shelby Lynn Strickland; parents, Fred and Thelma Boothe; brothers, Leonard, Hubbard, and Billy Boothe.Survivors include her sons, Ross Strickland (Rhonda) and Keith Strickland (Genia); sisters, Dean Jacobs and Doris Hunt; sister-in-law, Meryle Boothe; grandson, Cody Strickland (Whitney); granddaughters, Alexa, Alaina, and Caitlynn Strickland; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend "Ozzie".She was loved by so many and never met a stranger. She had a heart of gold and was adored by her two sons and grandchildren. Angels are rejoicing, as is she and her beloved husband are reunited in the presence of our Almighty Lord and Savior.Pallbearers will be David Kornegay, Tim Jacobs, Dwayne Strickland, Patrick Nix, Steve Phelps, and Hank Wilson.Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Don Peak, Eva Tierce-Valentine, Wanda and David Miller, John and Frances Morgan, Ventrice Phelps, Vivian Tierce, Stan Pate, Leaha and Arnie Sanford, nurses and staff of Northport Medical Center, friends of Roselawn and Forest Manor Subdivision.
