Randall "Randy" Herbert Davis, age 67, of Cottondale, died January 4, 2017, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, January 9, 2017, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Larry Corder, Keith Pugh and Coby Mouchette officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be two hours prior to services at the funeral home.He was preceded in death by his son, Jason Davis.Survivors include his wife, Marie Davis; son, Steven Davis; sister, Kay Black; parents, Rev. and Mrs. Herbert Davis; and grandchildren, Pamela Davis and Elijah Davis. Randall was a wonderful loving husband and caring father and grandfather. He was a bus driver for Tuscaloosa County School System, a sergeant in the Army, and retired from BF Goodrich after almost 36 years. He always greeted the children on the bus with a smile. And fellow employees said, "He always had a smile on his face."Pallbearers will be David Coleman, Stephen Corbett, Mike Davis, Jarrod Washington, Scott Black, Calvin Haynes, Raymond Giles and Rod Coleman.Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Stephen Browne and members of Alberta Baptist Church.
