Rayburn Olive Davis, age 75, of Rockville, Ind., died Jan. 7, 2013, in Rockville. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Romulus, Ala. with Bro. John Alexander officiating and Heritage Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Justin O. Davis and Virginia Pumphrey, and his sister, Betty McCracken.
Survivors include his daughters, Kella Marie Stultz and Virginia Renee Davis; his sons, Randall Max Davis and James Ray Davis; his sisters, Mary Johnson and Arlene Hall; and his grandchildren, Adam Rothenberg, Sarah Rothenberg, Max Davis, Kayla Davis, Lia Davis, Claire Davis, Jessica Fromholz and Emma Fromholz.
Mr. Davis worked in the vending business and retired from Ace Coffee Bar in Elgin, Ill. He proudly served in the U.S. Army for six years as a paratrooper. He loved all dogs small and large and gave a happy home to many of them. He retired to Rockville, Ind., where he enjoyed the country life surrounded by family and friends.
