

Jerry was a 1967 graduate of Tuscaloosa High School. He was a Vietnam era soldier serving in the Army in Germany. On his return to the US he attended Freed-Hardman College in Henderson, TN and the University of Alabama.
Jerry worked on an offshore oil rig for several years and was the owner of Harley Davidson Sales in West End. He retired from Dexter Fortson Associates in 2017.
Known as “Goat” Logan, he was a member of the Brothers Motorcycle Club and the Custom Riders Motorcycle Club. He was an avid fan of SEC and Alabama football and the St Louis Cardinals baseball team.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Eunice Green Logan and Thomas Logan and his younger brother, Whitney Logan.
Jerry is survived by his sister, Janet Logan Harwood of Pelham, niece Josie Harwood of Louisville, KY, nephew Logan Harwood (Amber) and great nephew, Copelin Harwood of Jemison, stepmother Elnora Logan of Tuscaloosa, and stepsisters Sherri Briggs Therrien (Frank Brown) of Tuscaloosa and Susan Briggs Watson (Whitten) of Indianapolis, IN.
Jerry will be laid to rest in Memory Hill Gardens on November 9th in a private ceremony.
