Shirley was preceded in death by her loving husband of 42 years, Tommie
Goodson; son Wayne Allen; grandson Anthony Allen. Her siblings James Taylor; Sylvia Koster and Mary Taylor-Nece. She was also preceded in death by her parents James H
Taylor Sr and Evelyn Graham Dutton
Survivors include her children James (Leslie) Allen, Sherry Blackwell, Wanda Swindle,
Brandi( Casey) Hill and Philip Allen. Sister Rhonda Paley
Also are her many grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and a few great
great grandchildren. Shirley is also survived by lots of other family members
Pallbearers will be Philip Allen, Billy Adams, Brandon Fondren, Casey Hill, Austin
Adams, Dayton Maddox and Lee Weeks
Honorary pallbearers include Hospice of West Alabama, her friends, neighbors
and all her friends she made while playing Bingo.

A visitation for Shirley will be held Sunday, January 12, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Memory Chapel Funeral Home, 2200 Skyland Blvd East, Tuscaloosa, AL 35405. A funeral service will occur Sunday, January 12, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM, 2200 Skyland Blvd East, Tuscaloosa, AL 35405.
