It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Shirley June Porter. She passed from complications of an enlarged heart Monday, September 21st at DCH Regional Medical Center, with her husband at her side.
She was a woman of great faith, a loving mother and wife to her children and husband, and to all of the friends of her children, who over time just called her "mom". That was always her, enough love for everyone. She was always kind to everyone and touched the hearts of all she met. She will be greatly missed and will forever leave a void in our hearts.
She is survived by her husband Dave, her three sons, Chris, Shane, and Thomas, her two daughters-in-law, Stephanie and Cyndi, and her two grandchildren, Lilly and Michael (Buddy).
Although she has left this earth, she continues her walk with the Lord until, one day, we will all be reunited.
