Shirley Sanders

Shirley Ann Sanders, 71, passed away on January 24, 2021 at her Daughter’s Residence in Woodstock, AL. A Visitation will be held on Friday, January 29, 2021 from 6-8PM at Memory Chapel Funeral Home of Tuscaloosa, a Dignity provider. Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Saturday, January 30, 2021 from the First United Pentecostal Church, 3320 Hargrove Road, Tuscaloosa. AL, with Bro. Emmit Smith offciating. Ms. Sanders will lie in state for a brief visitation, at the church, one hour prior to the funeral service. Graveside burial services will be held from Oak Hill Cemetery in Moundville.

Ms. Sanders was born September 05, 1949 to the late Webb and Velma Hartley. She was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church, and loved her family dearly, especially her son in law Roger Price.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters: Shirley Wallace and Janie Ray.

Ms. Sanders is survived by her children: George Jasper Culp, Virginia Clarice (Roger) Price, Marion Earl (Julie) Culp and Glenn Alvin Wilson, Jr.; grandchildren: Kristina Morrison, Christopher Price, Jeremy Culp, Michael Culp, Jessie Price, Terry Culp, Tyler Culp, Jacob Price, Tristin Wilson and Harlie Wilson; great grandchildren: Aubrey Morrison, Robert Morrison, Summer Duncan, Blake Culp, Brooke Culp, Anna Morrison, Gage Culp, Logan Price, Elijah Morrison, Joseph Morrison and Destiny Price; and brothers: Buck Culp, Jerry Culp, James Culp.

Serving as Active Pallbearers will be: Christopher Price, Jessie Price, Jacob Price, Michael Culp, Terry Culp and Tyler Culp.
