

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Vester and Dovie Averette, and Newman Sr. and Hazel Taylor.
Susan Camille is survived by her husband, Timothy H Bohannon; parents, Raymond and Iris Taylor; siblings, Michael Taylor (Judy), Carla Taylor Woods, and Karen Taylor Harris (Steve); Nephews and Nieces, Taylor May, Patrick Taylor, Emily Sapp, and Trent Harris; Great nieces, Merritt Taylor, Bailey May, and Celia Jean Sapp; Stepdaughter, Becky Condra; Stepgrandson, Brandon Devours; Sister-in-Law, Sharon Ray.
Susan Camille is a 1982 graduate of Tuscaloosa Christian School. She went on to graduate from Shelton State Community College with a degree in nursing. She worked at DCH Regional Medical Center as a registered nurse for almost 31 years.
Susan Camille touched countless lives as a wife, daughter, sister, nurse, friend, and family member. She was known for being caring, kind, giving, selfless, and encouraging to everyone she came in contact with each day. She was known by so many and everyone had a special name for her; Susan, Camille, SusieBo, Susie, SuSu, and Ruby Nell. She would tell friends and coworkers to always show Christ, which she did through the compassion she gave every day to her patients. She was a ray of sunshine to everyone she met. To know Susan Camille was to love her.
A visitation for Susan Camille will be held at Lifepointe Church of God on Thursday, January 30, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM followed by a Celebration of Life at 1:00 PM. Micah Andrews, Rev. Ken Andrews, and Rev. Tony Mahathy will be officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens.
Serving as Pallbearers are: Taylor May, Trent Harris, Patrick Taylor, Heath Sapp, Rusty Averette, David Everett, and Joel Andrews.
Honorary Pallbearers are Dr. Sakina Kamal, Dr. Stefan Osborn, Dr. Charles Gross, Dr. Ross Vaughn, Kandie Brewer, Nurses and Staff of DCH Regional Medical Center, and a host of family and friends.
