Sylvia Davis Mullins

A visitation will be held Tuesday, May 3, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Memory Chapel. With Funeral Services immediately following at 11:00AM, with Mark McGee officiating. Burial will be from Memory Hill Gardens, Garden of Prayer, and under the direction of Memory Chapel of Tuscaloosa, a Dignity Memorial provider.

Sylvia was born January 10, 1930 in Gordo, AL to the late Golden R. Stephens and Ethel McPherson Stephens. Her family moved to Caffee Junction her senior year of high school at Brookwood. She never got over the move from Gordo and she was always delighted to find other Gordo natives wherever she went.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband (and father of her children) Charles A. Davis as well as her husband Herman Mullins; brothers William Harland Stephens and Robert Stephens; sisters Josie Stephens Sigler, Margie Stephens Lucas and Shirley Stephens Gamble.

She is survived by three sons, one daughter and their spouses: Wayne (Glenda) Davis, Glenn (Sandy) Davis, Mark Davis and Karen Davis (Wailon) Blair; grandchildren: Patrick Wayne Davis, Michael Alston (Amber) Davis, Zachary Tyler (Katy) Davis and Jennifer Ann Davis; great-grandchildren: Allman James Davis and Laura Tyler Davis; sisters: Glenda (Carl) Guin and Peggie (Julian) Horton; brothers: Jerry, Paul, Ronnie (Kay) and Danny Stephens and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

Serving as Active Pallbearers will be her grandchildren and Brian Kellum. The family wishes to recognize Hospice of West Alabama and Heritage Health and Rehab as Honorary Pallbearers.
