Terry Leon Beck

Terry Leon Beck (Papa Terry), age 69, of Tuscaloosa, Alabama passed away on September 4, 2024 at West Alabama Hospice. A Celebration of Life will be held at Memory Chapel Funeral Home at 11:30 am on Monday, September 9, 2024 with Scott McCowen and Kerry Richardson officiating. Burial will follow at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am- 11:30 am.

Terry is preceded in death by his father, Leon Beck; sister, Angie Beck Johnson; brothers, Randy Beck, Ronnie Beck; grandson, Hudson Fife; grandparents, Ora Clements, Burley Clements, Lena Canada, Nelson Beck.

He is survived by is his daughters, Kristy Fife (Jason), Lori Smith (Jason); son, Jeremy Beck; sister, Tiffani Annette Pogue (Phillip); mother, Helen Beck; grandchildren, Katherine H. Colburn (Garrett), Dawson Herron (Anna), Peyton Herron, Emma Caroline Fife, Erin Kate Fife; great grandchildren, Liam Colburn, Noah Brooks Colburn, Dallas Reign Herron; a host of other family and friends.

Terry Beck was an avid fisherman and golfer, with a unique gift for connecting with children with special needs. Known affectionately as "Papa Terry", he was loved by all who knew him.

Pallbearers will be Scott and Judd Trimm, Ronnie and Chase Fields, Trent and Ethan Creel, Baylen Foshee, Mark Terry.

Honorary pallbearers are Central Church of Christ and neighbors of Woodland Hill and friends of Norris Circle of Cottondale, Lomax and Anne Fuller, Tom and Sheila Morrow, Jimmy and Rita Beck, Dan Byrd, Allen Bean, Jerry and Betty Burleson, Jackie Nuckols, Danny and Ginger Beck. Memorials made to Central Church of Christ Building Fund or favorite charity.
