Thomas West, born on September 21, 1948, passed away on February 23, 2026, at the age of 77. He was a resident of Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Ruby and Forney West; and sister, Bettie Ellen Gooch.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Rosa West; son, Nathan West (Dusty Odom); sister, Ersell Kelso; and grandchildren, Gavin West and Abby Odom.
Honorary pallbearers will be Gavin West, Scott Barton, Blake Crossley, Bradley Dinning, Jacob Spradlie, and the doctors and nurses of MICU DCH Regional Medical Center.
